Dr. Priya Goyal is a consultant ophthalmologist specializing in Pediatric Ophthalmology, Squint, and Neuro-Ophthalmology at Eye7 Eye Hospital, Lajpat Nagar.
She has done her MBBS and MS (Ophthalmology) from Government Medical College and Hospital, Chandigarh. She completed her long-term fellowship in Pediatric Ophthalmology, Strabismus, and Neurophthalmology at Dr. Shroff’s Charity Eye Hospital in New Delhi. She has also previously worked as a consultant at Dr. Shroff’s Charity Eye Hospital.
She has expertise in various surgeries related to children’s eye disorders, like pediatric cataracts, pediatric and adult squints, nystagmus, and adult cataracts. She is skilled in managing all types of pediatric refractive errors and amblyopia. She has also been imparting clinical and surgical training to pediatric ophthalmology fellows in the previous organization.
She has been actively involved in research work. She has published in national and international journals like the Journal of Pediatric Ophthalmology & Strabismus and the Indian Journal of Ophthalmology. She has also been a part of writing book chapters in a few journals. She is an active member of the AIOS (All India Ophthalmological Society), DOS (Delhi Ophthalmological Society), INOS (Indian Neuro-ophthalmological Society), and POSN (Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus Network). She has made numerous presentations at national and international conferences/workshops (a few award-winning ones).
