He has done MBBS from Maulana Azad Medical College (MAMC), New Delhi, India in 1978 and MS in Ophthalmology from Vardhman Mahavir Medical College, Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi, India in 1983 followed by post-doctoral training from R.P Centre, AIIMS in Medical Retina and Lasers.
He is trained in Phacoemulsification and anterior segment surgery from Columbia University, New York, USA, and the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, Little Rock, Arkansas.
He has over 35 Years of experience in Ophthalmology and worked at Dr. RML Hospital, New Delhi as Professor and Head of Department before joining Eye7 Eye Hospitals.
He has many research and publications in the field of ophthalmology.
He is a skilled Phaco and Anterior segment surgeon and has performed more than 20000 surgeries in his related field.
Dr. Praveen Kumar Malik is also associated with different organizations. He is an active member of the Delhi ophthalmological society, All India Ophthalmological Society, and American society for cataract and refractive surgery.
He has attended many conferences (AIOS, DOS, and others) and has chaired and co-chaired numerous sessions in DOS and AIOS conferences.
