Dr. S.P. Chaudhary is a senior vitreo-retinal surgeon and uveitis specialist at Eye7 Chaudhary Eye Centre, Indirapuram. He served as a vitreo-retina surgeon at Dr. Shroff’s Charity Eye Hospital, New Delhi from 2007-2012. He did his graduation (M.B.B.S) from Maulana Azad Medical College (MAMC), New Delhi and post-graduation (M.S) from Guru Nanak Eye Centre (MAMC), New Delhi. He did his fellowship in phacoemulsification and subsequently in Vitreo-Retinal diseases & surgeries from the prestigious Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai.He has an extensive experience in performing numerous diagnostic & surgical vitreo-retinal procedures. He is expert in managing age-related macular degeneration (ARMD, CNVM), diabetic retinopathy (DR), retinal detachment (RD), retinopathy of prematurity (ROP), uveitis, endophthalmitis and various other vitreo-retinal diseases. He has been performing conventional & latest surgical retinal surgeries like microincision sutureless vitrectomy (MIVS, 23 & 25 G).He has many national and international publications to his credit and has been invited as faculty speaker at various conferences. He is a reviewer for international ophthalmic journals like Ophthalmic Surgery, Lasers & Imaging (OSLI).He has been an investigator for various multi-centric global clinical trials,and research projects on retinal diseases. He has trained number of fellow ophthalmologist in retinal & uveal diseases and organized various CMEs on retinal diseases.
